Project Description:

During the Ancient China unit students will analyze the importance of trade through the lense of the Silk Road and apply that knowledge to how trade affects their own lives and their local community.

Final Product(s):

Students will submit a proposal to their assigned local business on ways in which they can become more localized.

Essential Standards:

Analyze scientific, technological, intellectual, and artistic advancements to determine the legacy of the classical civilizations.

Potential Community Outreach:

Local businesses in areas that include transportation, technology, health & wellness, textiles, and food

Teacher Reflection:

Trial period begins January 2020.
