Students create a product to sell, create plan, budget, etc., then make a product and sell good or service to peers during market day

Final Product(s):

Teams create a good or service to sell to their peers. Team and individual reflection

Reading

  • c. seeking clarification, and using information/ facts and details about texts and supporting answers with evidence from text

Writing:

Social Studies

  • Describe a personal cost-benefit situation.
  • Explain the difference between fact and opinion in social studies’ topics.

Potential Community Outreach:

Bring in community member who has their own business to speak to students about their business. They will be focusing on the roles of consumers and producers as well as describing the good or service they provide to their customers! We will also welcome a banker from the community to discuss cost benefit.
