Honoring Our Veterans

Approximately 3-4 weeks
Driving Question:
How can we honor Veterans?
Project Description:
Students research about Veterans and learn about ways they can honor Veterans. Thinking of ways Veterans do their part as citizens of our country, students connect ways in which they can be good citizens.
Final Product(s):
Students plan and host a ceremony for our local Veterans and family members. Students will share a piece of poetry they wrote with Veterans at the ceremony.
