How can we, as first grade leaders, be active and informed citizens in our community?
Project Description:
Students will learn about the jobs of important community members through a full immersion day of exploration in Liberty, researching what responsibilities each role entails, interviewing members in these roles and sharing their learning through a multitude of medias.
Final Product(s):
The final product includes a 3d map of Liberty with QR codes on important places. The students researched, wrote scripts, recorded the video using a green screen, and built the map to showcase our community.

*We visited the police station, fire station, court house, farm, and local businesses/entrepreneurs on our full immersion day of exploration:
